Pay Per Last N Shares. Rewards are distributed based on your share contribution in a sliding window of the last N shares.
Sidechain
P2Pool runs its own blockchain (sidechain) where miners submit shares. This is separate from the Monero mainchain.
Effort %
How much work was needed to find a block compared to the expected amount. 100% is average. Higher means "unlucky".
Uncle Block
A valid share that was found almost simultaneously with another share. Uncles receive a reduced reward (80% in Mini).
Share
A proof of work submitted by a miner to the P2Pool sidechain. Shares prove you are mining and earn you a portion of block rewards.
Mini vs Main
P2Pool Mini has lower difficulty (10s block time) for smaller miners. Main P2Pool has higher difficulty (10s as well but harder shares).
